Rothenburg, Germany July 14, 2016
On our way to Rothenburg, I ran into these guys from Syria. Yes, they are refugees but far from ordinary ones.
Most of them have a doctoral degree. I chatted with the gentleman on the right in the first photo. He is a doctor like the one sitting next to me. We talked about German's reaction to refugees as well as the government spending on them. The over all thinking is that refugees also have positive contributions to Germany such as birth rate and low training cost for people in various professions.
They are making progress in their German language learning. In the end, I said: "I hope this turmoil will soon end so that you guys can see your hometown again. "
